Shri Justice Munishwar Nath Bhandari appointed as Judge of High Court (HC) of Rajasthan HC on 5 July 2007 also practised in the Rajasthan HC at Jodhpur and Jaipur, Central Administration Tribunal, Jaipur and initially in Supreme Court (SC) in Constitutional, Civil, Service, Labour Criminal and Arbitration matters and specialised in Constitutional, Service, Labour and Arbitration matters.

Shri Justice Kamal Kishore K. Tated started practice in High Court (HC) on Appellate as well as originate side and appointed as Assistant Government Pleader and Additional Public Prosecutor in the year 1987 and continued till elevation as HC.

Shri Justice Jayant Nath practiced as an Advocate in the Supreme Court (SC) of India represented various Public Sector undertakings, banks etc. He was trained as a mediator by the Delhi HC mediations and conciliation centre and conducted various mediations therein.

Thottathil Bhaskaran Radhakrishnan was born on April 29 1959, and he is presently the Chief Justice of the Calcutta High Court. He has served as the first Chief Justice of the Telangana High Court for the state of Telangana for three months. He has also served as the Chief Justice of the Hyderabad High Court and the Chhattisgarh High Court, and the Judge of the Kerala High Court.

Justice Harish Tandon enrolled as an Advocate on 26th September 1989 practised primarily in the appellate side of the High Court (HC) in Calcutta and also presented before the city’s Civil Court, Debt Recovery Tribunal and Supreme Court. He was appointed as a permanent Judge of the High Court (HC) at Calcutta on 13th April 2010.

Chief Justice Dhirubhai Naranbhai Patel was born on March 13 1960. He enrolled as a lawyer on July 28, 1984, and practised in the High Court of Gujarat. He practised in the High Court of Gujarat on behalf of the Union of India in civil, criminal and constitutional matters as well as excise and custom matters.

Honourable Justice M M Punchhi was born on 10th October 1933 at Pakpattan District of Montgomery, now in Pakistan. He finished his school education from Sacred Heart School, Amritsar, and later went to the Arya High School, Pakpattan. He then moved to Firozpur from where he went to DC Jain College and then to DAV College, Jullundur. He graduated in law from Delhi University in the year 1955.

Honorable Justice JS Verma was born on 18th January 1933, in Satna, Madhya Pradesh. He was the 27th Chief Justice of India who served from 21st March 1997 to 18th January 1998. He completed his early education at Venkat High School in Satna and went to Government Jubilee Inter College, Lucknow. After this, he pursued further studies from the University of Allahabad and accomplished BSc and LLB degrees.

Honorable Justice A M Ahmadi was born on March 25th, 1932 at Surat, Gujarat. He joined the Bar in 1954 and started his practice from Ahmedabad. His father had also been a judge. In 1960, he occupied the post of Law Officer of the District Court Pleader’s Office, Ahmedabad. In 1962, he enrolled as an advocate in the Gujarat High Court. He was welcomed into the judiciary in 1964 through the Gujarat Judicial Service and at the young age of 32, he became the Judge of the City Civil Court and Sessions Court in Ahmedabad. Honorable Justice M.N Venkatachaliah was born on 25th October 1929, in a small village called Lepakshi, Andra Pradesh. He went on to become the 25th Chief Justice of India. His educational qualifications include a Bachelor in Science from the University of Mysore and a bachelor in law from Bangalore University.

Hon’ble Justice Jayantilal Chhotalal Shah was born on the 22nd of January, 1906 in Ahmedabad. He did his schooling from R.C School in Ahmedabad and thereafter went to Elphinstone College in Bombay. He has had a remarkable legal career. From practicing as a lawyer in Ahmedabad to becoming the twelfth chief justice of India, J.Shah has accomplished a lot of important cases.

Hon’ble Justice Hidayatullah was born on 17th December 1905 at Betul. He went to the Government High School, Raipur, and Morris College, Nagpur where he secured the Phillips Scholarship and the Malak Gold Medal. He was keen on studying further and therefore travelled to England. On arriving in England, he was able to secure entry into one of the top colleges, Trinity College, Cambridge from where he obtained BA and MA degrees. He is to date recognized as one of the star alumni from the college. Due to his exceptional academic record, he was admitted to the Bar in Lincoln’s Inn in 1930 at a young age of 25.

Hon'ble Justice K N Wanchoo took birth on 25th February 1903 and was the 10th Chief Justice of India. He grew up in Allahabad. He received his education from Pandit Pirthi Nath High School, Kanpur, Muir Central College, Allahabad, and Wadham College, Oxford. He is a distinguished judicial personality as he is the only judge in the history of the Supreme Court who became the CJI without any law degree or status of a barrister and the like. This was made possible because of his tenure in the Indian Civil Service as the Joint Magistrate in 1926.

Hon’ble Justice K Subba Rao hails from a small city called Rajahmundry in Andra Pradesh. He was born on July 15, 1902. On that fateful day, nobody could have thought that he would go on to be the 9th Chief Justice of India. He belonged to a lawyer’s family. Therefore, his entry into law was a natural choice. To start off along this path, he pursued BA from Governments Art’s College, Rajamundry, and law from Madras Law College.

On 15th August 1891, Hon’ble Justice Bijan Kumar Mukherjea was born in Nabadwip, Nadia district, West Bengal. He had a stellar academic record in both his B.A. (Arts) and B.L. (Law) subjects in which he has accomplished a master’s degree in M.A. and M.L. also, respectively. This made his alma mater, Calcutta University, proud of him. Like a cherry on the cake, he topped it all with a doctorate in law from the same university.

Hon'ble Justice Mehr Chand Mahajan was born in a small village called Tika Nagrota in Kangra District of Himachal Pradesh in 1889. He studied B.Sc. from Government College, Lahore, and graduated in 1910. Later, he earned an LL.B. degree from Punjab University, Lahore, in 1912. In Lahore High Court, he became a reputed lawyer and was chosen to be the High Court Bar Association president in Lahore. He served in this position from 1938 to 1943. In September 1943, he was appointed as the Punjab High Court judge.
