SECTION-7: FACTS WHICH ARE THE OCCASION, CAUSE OR EFFECT OF FACTS IN ISSUE

Section 7 of the Indian Evidence Act, 1872 deals with relevancy of the occasion, cause and the effect of the fact in issue or relevant facts. It lays down that the facts, which are effect or cause of the relevant facts or fact in issues, are relevant. It also states that the facts, which are occasion or which afford an opportunity for the occurrence of the relevant facts or the fact in issue, are relevant.
