SECTION 6: RELEVANCY OF FACTS FORMING PART OF SAME TRANSACTION

Section 6 of the Indian Evidence Act, 1872 lays down that the facts, which are connected with the fact in issue that the form part of the same transaction are relevant facts. The place and the time need not be the same. This section follows the principle of Res Gestae, which states that the automatic and undersigned incidents of an act are admissible when they describe such act.
