SECTION-6: CLASSES OF CRIMINAL COURTS

Section 6 of Code of Criminal Procedure Act, 1973, states the different classes of criminal courts. According to this section, each district shall consist of Courts of Session, Executive Magistrate, Judicial Magistrate of First Class or Metropolitan Magistrate in Metropolitan Cities and Judicial Magistrate of Second Class besides the High Court or other courts set up by the law. ‍
