Government has taken many steps in the last few years to improve the health sector in India. The main focus of national health policy was to increase the health care services in our country. The government wanted to improve the skill of doctors, medicines and trust of the people in healthcare. The government expenditure on public healthcare is increasing day by day, but the problem of health care services still exists in many states and is an issue of major concern. To overcome this, the government should set a deadline for public institutions for providing free medicine and diagnosis to all on a primary basis.
