If a student has good communication and persuasion skills, the law is a suitable career for them. A career in law not only offers to practice in courts but also gives a lot of opportunities in the corporate sector, public sector, journalism, judiciary, and legal consultant.

Some of the tips for effective preparation for the exam are –

  • Making good notes of the different subjects – a good student should always develop the habit of making notes of whatever they study. It has a lot of benefits, such as it not only helps in memorizing the subjects better but also gives a great relief when one has to take a quick revision. One should always mark the important lines while studying to memorize it better.
  • Reading to a great extent – reading the newspaper daily helps one in the written examination, which demands general awareness and English. Students should have a good knowledge of current affairs. One should make a good time table for different sections of subjects such as English, vocabulary, etc.
  • Prepare for the exams smartly – while attempting the exam, it is very important to be smart. Attempting all the questions is not important, but one should first attempt questions which they know thoroughly. Dividing the time limit for each section of the paper is very important. And one should not leave out an entire section completely but try to answer some at least the questions.
  • Be motivated – some topics of the subjects may be rather boring or lengthy in which the students may stumble while preparing for CLAT. But a student must stay motivated and think positively and cover all the sections of the given subject.  One should also be healthy and have a good diet while preparing for exams. Having a good diet and good sleep also helps in focusing on the subject, and thus one can easily prepare for the exams without any hindrance.
  • Handpick and study - Studying selectively is good, but it does not mean that one should leave a certain section of the subject, but it means concentrating on the key points. Mostly students want to memorize everything and answer all the questions given in the exam, but the examination does not ask them to answer everything. One should choose the key areas and should concentrate on them.

CONCLUSION

If one studies and clears the CLAT exam, then they can persuade the law subject which offers a diverse area to work at. Some of the companies where one can try for public sector undertakings in India are the ONGC, Steel Authority of India, Oil India, which also recruits for the legal positions in the company. So one should stay motivated and think positively and clear the CLAT exam. CLAT forms a base for the students to persuade law in the later stage of their life.
