A deceptive practice is an offense that is said to have been committed when someone on purpose or knowingly induces another person by deception or threat to execute a document or dispose a property or anything which has pecuniary value for their own personal gain, if that individual is an officer or manager in the direction of a financial institution, he/she with having knowledge accepts or permits deposits, knowing that the institution is insolvent and that individual makes false and deceptive statements to the public to promote sales.
A lot of people have adopted these practices to promote their sales. They come up with various offers to attract the customers which are too good to be true. They say that they have complied with all the standards when that is not actually the case.
For example: False advertising, extra offers, free goodies, attractive packaging, selling wrong products in the wrong packages.
