The respondent was directed to conduct the “single counselling” for filling up sets in the Post Graduate Medical Courses leading to Diploma and Degree and the seats in Diploma of National Board. In this, petitioners were not able to get the desirable seat.

The writ petition was disposed of as the directions for the present year were not passed as the whole of the selection process has taken place. The authorities must take in the consideration that from the next year i.e. 2021 a common counselling should take place.
