- Reviewing and negotiating vendor and global customer legal agreements
- Maintaining agreement records and managing renewals
- Handling Company Secretarial Matters and other corporate compliances, including compliances related to MCA
- Handling any other compliance related work under any other applicable laws
- Handling all documentation related to SEZ activities
- Any other support to the Local / Global Finance / Legal Team
Qualifications
- Law degree (LLB) from accredited institution and qualified to practice in local jurisdiction.
- Qualified Company Secretary – Member of Institute of Company Secretary of India (ICSI).
- At least 5+ years of relevant experience in a law firm and/or global corporation
- Should be well versed with the new 'Companies Act 2013' and recent amendments.
- Demonstrated self-starter, able to work in a very fast paced, changing environment with ability to juggle several priorities at the same time; must thrive under deadline pressure and limited supervision.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues in a concise and simple way.
- Interact professionally and maturely with clients at all levels to influence outcomes .
- Exceptional drive and commitment to client services with the ability to quickly gain trust and credibility from team members.
- Sound business judgment with the ability to escalate legal issues when needed.
- Experience negotiating technology transactions and complex commercial transactions with a familiarity of legal issues surrounding Cloud/SaaS product offerings and software licensing a plus.
- Must be well-organized and possess strong planning and prioritization skills; extremely high attention to detail and demonstrated “growth mindset” to be willing and able to take on additional responsibilities to support Cytel’s evolving business needs.
About Organisation
Cytel is seeking an experienced, motivated, practical and solution-oriented attorney based in Pune, India to join its legal team focusing primarily on supporting domestic business operaitons and corporate governance compilances and also supporting our global commercial transaction, including reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial agreements to support the company’s growth and diverse service offerings. In this role, you will provide timely legal advice to the Cytel legal team while working closely with Finance, HR, IT, and other supporting teams.
