About Organization

Low-income communities in India are regularly victimized by the letter of the law, due to a combination of lack of awareness, knowledge, and education regarding the intricacies of the Indian legal system. The curriculum prescribed in schools lacks mechanisms to provide the necessary legal literacy to students, and through them to communities as a whole. Just Justice aims to equip students with the necessary legal education through a need-based comprehensive curriculum that would enable them to navigate their lives, and further disseminate their learnings into the communities in which they reside, and eventually the society as a whole. Their mission is to mobilize and inspire a wider movement of legally-aware community leaders who will generate a similar transformation for all children and under-resourced communities in the country.
