The internship will be a legal-cum-research internship and shall entail researching problems existing in the status quo and drafting a project proposal for it.
Additional tasks involving legal work might be given.
The intern will work directly under the Joint Secretary of the society.
Anyone currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate course or graduates not enrolled in full-time roles can apply.
Strong command of the English language is required.

Please note that this is a hybrid internship – a physical interview will take place following which work-from-home arrangements can be negotiated.
Anyone with an interest in research and public policy can apply. People who haven’t interned before are also welcome to apply.
If a candidate qualifies, a need-based stipend (for travel expenses only) can be provided.
One month but can be extended based on performance and willingness. Candidates can start immediately if needed.

GANA is an NGO that was formed in 2007 and has gone on to work with the numerous ministries and departments of the Central and State Governments such as that of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and more than 50 privately held companies. The organisation works primarily as an implementation agency and has been registered with Niti Aayog.
