I am a fellow at Teach For India looking for two volunteers to be placed in a grade 1 classroom. I teach 40 tiny but so capable 1st graders at Sarvodaya Co-Ed. Sr. Sec. School, Munirka Village, New Delhi. My students come from diverse backgrounds and have different needs and problem areas; I am looking for individuals who can help me design differentiated learning for students of varying buckets/ rigors.
It’s widely known that early education plays a critical role in how students perform in their later school years. The pandemic undid years of progress. You can help rebuild a classroom.
Considering that we are in challenging, unpredictable times, I hope to be assisted by people who’d work alongside me in my classroom, helping groups of students catch up with the learning we aim to end the year by accomplishing our classroom goals.
