About Organization

Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) is increasingly being utilized to resolve disputes that would otherwise result in litigation. One of the primary reasons that parties may prefer to resolve their differences via ADR is that, unlike adversarial litigation, ADR procedures are often collaborative and allow the parties to understand each other’s positions. ADR also allows the parties to come up with more creative solutions that a court may not be legally allowed to impose. The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) as the only international membership organization dedicated to promoting all alternatives methods of dispute resolution, wants to play an important role in providing early exposure to ADR to students from across the globe, helping students such as you to become part of our diverse community and develop into a talented ADR practitioner in the future. Careers in Arbitration, as an online platform working to ensure that anyone, anywhere in the world has access to vacancies and advice to help them to succeed in the ADR arena, is delighted to be working with CIArb to provide this valuable learning opportunity to students.
