The 1st Moot Court Competition is aimed at the presentation of verbal argumentation skills under an issue on a given theme of Criminal Laws in India.
Theme: Indian Criminal Laws
Mode of Event
- The format of open moot court is specific to only argumentation skills.
- The 1st Round consist of contemporary issue on which the participant have to select a side i.e. petitioner or respondent on which you will present yourself to the panel. (Top 50% Speakers of each side will move further to 2nd Round)
- The 2nd Round will consist change in side prior to selected, i.e. the participant who represented Petitioner in Round one will Represent as Respondent (Top 2 Speakers, i.e. one from each side will move further to the final round).
- Under the given theme the issue will be disclosed to participants on February 11, 2022 via email.
- The argumentation rules will also be conveyed to participants on February 11, 2022 via email.
- The argumentation round will be conducted via a virtual meeting platform on which you will be hosted by the organizing team.
- The details of virtual meeting link along with your time slot will be communicated on email on February 11, 2022.
- In case of any contingent situation coordinators decision will be final.

- 1st Round – 7 Mins. for Speakers
- 2nd Round – 10 Mins. for Speakers
- Final Round – 20 Mins. for Speakers

- 1st Round: February 12, 2022 – 9 AM IST onwards
- 2nd Round: February 13, 2022 – 9 AM IST Onwards
- Final Round – February 13, 2022 – 7 PM IST Onwards
