In Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand street plays are being organised by the state government to make people conscious about the elimination of Female Foeticide. In addition, there is a district task force, and block task force departments have also been made for the better implementation and enormous favourable outcome of the scheme. Punjab government launched “Udaan Sapneya Di Duniya De Rubaru'' campaign in association with BBBP Abhiyan which aims to educate the girl child from class VI to XII, and a chance is given to every girl to meet the professional person of the field which they aim for in future. Under BBBP Abhiyan, the Government also launched a scheme named; Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana which can be opened by any parent of the girl child to deposit some money as savings for the young age of the girl child; which can be purposely used for marriage or studies.
