Nov 26, 2020

The reopening of school is a complex matter for the Government, as far this COVID-19 pandemic remains uncertain, and there is no update for the upcoming vaccines and the situation in India is getting worse day by day as the cases are increasing in peak. No proper resolution has been made to get over this pandemic; thus reopening of school won't be considered as a good idea for now until the situation gets better. The school reopening question would not get resolved satisfactorily unless and until the cure is discovered.

Yet there are impacts to the education process, and it is affecting student career as well. The alternative method of engaging students in online learning opportunities is skewed by economies status. In India, there are many children left behind without the access of technologies like computers, internet connectivity, Television sets and electricity as well. Thus, the issue of reopening schools in a calibrated manner must be addressed soon. The organization makes the government respond to the problem as CBSE by reduction of the syllabus load for classes 9 to 12thstd by 30%. However, this decision has become controversial for its choice for removal democratic rights, federalism, citizenship and secularism. There is a discernible trend of diminishing basic rights as a necessary sacrifice to fight the pandemic. However, some compromise has been done to relocate and improve the current scenario. Still, the reopening of schools is primarily not a good idea for children as it is considered to be a threat to their health. It is not a good idea to take that risk as per now or for upcoming months.

However, various modes of teaching have been helping students and creating a different mode of a learning experience for the students to grow and to connect during this pandemic.
